Weirdly Effective Thing I Do Every Morning

I want you to try this first thing when you wake up tomorrow morning.

Before you reach for the coffee or jump into another workout...

Try shaking.

Not lifting.

Not stretching.

Shaking.

There’s a practice in Qigong — a form of ancient Chinese movement —
Where you stand tall and gently bounce or shake your body from head to toe.

It looks simple.
It is simple.
But what it does to your nervous system is kind of wild.

In just 2–3 minutes of loose, rhythmic shaking...

You release physical tension.

You stimulate your lymphatic system.

You “wake up” your body in the most natural way possible.

And maybe most importantly —

You shift out of your head and into your body.

No perfect form. No rules. Just bounce, shake, and breathe.

To give you visual, imagine it almost like jumping rope but without the rope and your arms are shaking

Let your arms go loose. Let your spine ripple. Let your heels tap the floor.

You’ll feel your energy shift. Your mood lift. And your whole body start to soften and wake up at the same time.

Some people call it moving meditation.

Others just call it hitting reset.

Either way — it’s a morning ritual worth trying.

It takes less time than brushing your teeth.

And the effects can ripple through the rest of your day.
