Sorry I been a little distant lately. Just been very busy! Anyways, let me drop another gem for you guys to help you improve your fitness
Most people think better results come from new exercises.
New program.
New equipment.
New routine.
But one of the most powerful upgrades you can make…
Doesn’t require changing a single exercise.
Just change the tempo.
Tempo simply means controlling the speed of each rep.
Instead of rushing through movements…
You slow them down.
And that changes everything.
When you slow down a push-up…
Your chest, shoulders, and core have to stay fully engaged the entire time.
When you control the lowering portion of a squat…
Your legs actually have to work through the full range instead of relying on momentum.
Most people move too fast.
They bounce through reps.
They let gravity do half the work.
And then wonder why they stop seeing progress.
Slowing down removes shortcuts.
It forces the muscles to stay active longer.
It improves control.
It improves joint stability.
And it makes light weights feel heavy again.
Try this with basic movements:
Push-ups.
Squats.
Even lunges.
Lower yourself for 3–4 seconds.
Pause briefly at the bottom.
Then come back up slowly under control.
Suddenly, 8 reps feels like 20.
And your muscles are doing far more real work.
You don’t always need more intensity.
Sometimes you just need more intention.
Change the tempo…
And you change the stimulus.
Simple adjustment.
Big difference.
Have a great day!
