Secret Technique To See Results

What’s up FitZip followers, it’s my birthday today and I want to share with you one of my favorite techniques to build muscle faster that you can do from your living room

We’ll use the push up as an example but this technique can be down with nearly any exercise.

Most people treat push-ups like a numbers game.

Bang out 25-50 as fast as possible and call it a day. But if you’re chasing high numbers just to say you did them, you’re probably missing out on actual results.

The real magic of the exercise doesn’t come from the number of reps you can do—it comes from tempo.

When you slow your reps down—lowering as slow as possible, pausing briefly at the bottom, then pressing back up and slow as possible —you force your muscles to work harder, longer, and smarter.

Slower reps fire more muscle fibers, increase time under tension, and lead to better strength and muscle gains. You might only get 5–10 solid reps this way, but trust me, your chest, shoulders, and triceps will know the difference.

Quality > quantity. Always.

Next time you drop down for push-ups, slow them down. Own each inch of the movement. It’s not about how many you can do—it’s about how well you can do them.
